Drama, Ages 8-9
Play It Up is a 9-week drama program for children ages 8–9 designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and encourage joyful self-expression through theatre and play.
Through
- drama games,
- storytelling,
- improvisation,
- and group activities,
young artists build communication skills, teamwork, and creative problem-solving in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants explore characters, ideas, and ensemble-based performance while growing comfortable expressing themselves on stage and building friendships.
Drama, Ages 10-12
Story Makers is a 9-week drama program for youth ages 10–12 where young artists explore
- storytelling,
- character creation,
- and creative expression through theatre.
Participants build foundational drama skills through
- character,
- voice,
- emotion,
- and physical storytelling in a supportive environment.
Through games, improvisation, and scene work, students develop confidence, communication, and teamwork while creating original characters and scenes through ensemble-based learning. The session may include a small informal sharing celebrating creative work.
Voice 8-9
Songbirds is a 9-week singing and voice program for children ages 8–9, welcoming beginners and young singers of all experience levels.
Through music games,
- vocal exercises,
- soundscapes,
- rhythm activities,
- movement,
- and group singing,
participants build confidence while learning to listen, collaborate, and express themselves through voice and song.
Students explore foundational skills including rhythm, pitch, and simple harmonies in a fun and encouraging environment.
Participants will learn joyful group songs, including faith-filled music that celebrates creativity, community, and unity, with gentle opportunities for solos and leadership moments that help them grow in confidence.
Voice 10-13
Rising Voices is a 9-week singing and voice program for youth ages 10–13, welcoming beginners and singers of all experience levels.
Through games, simple harmonies, creative activities, soundscapes, and group singing, participants build confidence while learning to listen, collaborate, and express themselves through voice and song.
Students explore foundational skills including
- rhythm,
- pitch,
- vocal technique,
- and playful voice exercises in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants will learn a variety of group songs, including uplifting worship music that celebrates faith, community, and unity, with optional solo opportunities to help each young artist grow in confidence and discover their unique voice.
Visual Arts, Ages 8-9
Creator’s Canvas is an 8-week visual arts program for children ages 8–9 designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and joyful self-expression through hands-on art experiences.
Through drawing, painting, and creative exploration, young artists will build foundational art skills while creating unique pieces to take home.
Inspired by the beauty of God’s creation and the belief that every child is uniquely made with purpose and creativity, participants will explore themes of identity, kindness, imagination, and self-expression in a fun and encouraging environment.
Visual Arts, Ages 10-13
Art Lab is an 8-week visual arts program for youth ages 10–13 designed to help young artists strengthen their creativity, develop artistic techniques, and grow in confidence through hands-on artmaking.
Participants will explore drawing, painting, mixed media, and creative design while building foundational skills such as
- colour theory,
- composition,
- shading,
- texture,
- and creative problem-solving.
In a supportive environment inspired by the beauty of God’s creation and the belief that every person is uniquely made with creativity and purpose, students will explore themes of identity, imagination, storytelling, and self-expression while creating meaningful artwork to take home.
Sewing 9-12
Stitched Creations is an 8-week beginner sewing program for children ages 9–12 designed to build confidence, creativity, and practical skills through hands-on sewing projects.
Participants learn
- foundational hand-sewing techniques,
- stitching methods,
- fabric handling,
- and basic mending while completing creative projects to take home and enjoy.
In a supportive studio environment, young creators develop problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and creative expression through making.
Sewing 13-15
Restored Creations is an 8-week creative sewing program for youth ages 13–15 designed to help young artists build practical sewing skills, creative confidence, and intentional design practices through hands-on projects and upcycling.
Participants learn foundational sewing and mending techniques while exploring ways to repurpose and transform fabric and clothing into something new and meaningful.
In a supportive studio environment, students strengthen problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and artistic expression.
Subsidy Program
We want every child and youth to have the opportunity to participate in our programs, regardless of financial circumstances. This form helps us provide partial subsidies for program fees.
Note for Families
Subsidy amounts are limited and distributed based on need.
Priority may be given to first-time participants or families with multiple children enrolled.
Subsidy does not guarantee full coverage, and parents are responsible for the remaining program fees.
